Couture Modern traditional ballgown dress – BARGAIN price
Opulent ball gown with layers of skirt that is caught up in bustles and spill into a long train. The long line bodice is swathed in pleats that hug and slim the body. Little puffed straps draw the eye from the deep sweetheart front and plunging back neckline. Beaded brooches are elegantly placed throughout.
Alterations were done to add bra cups to the dress & allow for the train to be bustled. There is also am arm strap, so you have two options to lift the train. The hem has not been changed as my shoes were the perfect height.
I received SO many compliments on the dress and still do as it is different from your average wedding dress and really makes you appear skinnier than you are! BONUS!
The dress was professionally dry cleaned the next day after I wore it.
The colour is Ivory, but it is closer to white than cream.
This is a Couture wedding dress size 12 (but I was a size 11 at the time) purchased at Bridal Avenue TM in the Dymocks Building in Sydney. RRP – dress $2000, dry cleaning & alterations – $700.
